Safit Srl is a company with thirty years of experience based in Friola di Pozzoleone, in the province of Vicenza. The brand is the new face of a history Italian company that since 1970 produces accessories for safety footwear, for years together with Esjot: a famous German international company, which closed definitively in 2009, declaring bankruptcy.
After years of difficulty, the company has experienced an extraordinary phase of success, also following the entry into the Veneto Euromeccanica Industrial Group. Event, which produced a decisive acceleration in business and company policies. Thanks to the skills of the Group’s partner companies, in the last three years the company has created over 147 new top models, in 2011 it opened a new plant dedicated to the production of the latter and steel slabs and, above all, it has invested particularly in research: for years now, a team of engineers has been engaged in the study of innovative processes and materials to create even more performing products.
History
Today known as Safit Srl , ours is a historic company in the province of Pavia, born thanks to the competence, commitment and passion of Giovanni Rossi and Giorgio Venezian, father of the current CEO Denis Venezian. Constantly looking for materials of exceptional quality on the market and uniqueness, both lived in the most important areas of shoe production: the district of Montebelluna and Vigevano. And it was probably written in destiny that the two, V&G – Venezian & Gnoato and Attrezzeria Lomellina, would one day meet…
The first, Venezian & Gnoato, named after the two partners, was dedicated to the construction of molds and the production of small printed parts. Among the first orders of the two Venetian partners, the design and construction of the molds and the related production of various buckles for shoes and eyelets through laces, components for furniture and toe caps for motocross boots. The second, the Pavia Attrezzeria Lomellina, molding. Giovanni, the creator, cultivated a great dream: to make the best security tips in the world.
Thus, he gave life to the Attrezzeria Lomellina, returning from a work experience in France, in the field of sheet metal stamping and drawing.
The two realities, Italian excellences, amazed the German (and known all over the world, as a reference for the production of shoes, formifici, mold makers and pattern makers) Esjot, who decided to buy the Lombard company and to reach an agreement of full collaboration with the two Venetian entrepreneurs.
Giovanni Rossi thus became Production Manager for Italy of Esjot industriale Srl, while Venezian and Gnoato, using only the Esjot brand, began to market their insoles all over the world. A great success! That from the 90s, however, saw a long period of decline, until 2009, when the German company declared bankruptcy.
Subsequently, after different vain attempts to reconquer and revive the Italian brand Esjot, the two companies, which continued to collaborate, decided to abandon the German name and give life to Safit Srl. After the entry of Attrezzeria Lomellina into the Veneto Industrial Group Euromeccanica, the company has experienced a well-deserved phase of rebirth, and with it also V&G, a partner for years. A decisive acceleration in activity and over 147 new toe cap models, made in just three years, to meet the growing needs of the market, and the birth in 2011 of the new and modern plant dedicated to the production of steel toe caps and insoles, in Pozzoleone, in the province of Vicenza.

Thirty years of experience and a story to tell. Safit Srl, known since the seventies with the brand Esjot, in March 2010 became part of the Veneto industrial group Euromeccanica, re-experiencing a phase of absolute relaunch and coining the new brand Safit. from the union of the two English terms “safe” and “fit“: safety and comfort.
Re-living a phase of absolute optimism and new production challenges. Safit products are made using only excellent raw materials, coming from reliable suppliers, and maintain high production standards in terms of results, resource management and environmental impact, so as to ensure competitiveness on the national and international market. Always having at heart the needs of each customer, and the characteristics of wearability and design.
And it starts again on the market by choosing the slogan Hard Shell: symbol of new production challenges and a vision that looks to the future with enthusiasm. The result of a rapid and cutting-edge company action, which in a few months brought to the market 47 new models of tips, 3 of steel insoles and a complete mold park to conclude the projects in progress.

With the aim of minimizing the thickness of the tips, and consequently size and weight, Giovanni Rossi, one of the fathers of Safit Srl, already in the very first years of activity, was not satisfied with the steels that were on the market but studied a customized (and optimal!) formula that, subsequently, he had produced for the company.
